POD version 5.1 is available

Version 5.1 of Post On Demand, our hybrid mail solution, is available. POD v5.1 integrates numerous new functionalities, bug corrections and performance improvements.

All contribute to a better usability, adoption and productivity.

  • Faster navigation for the user since the order pages have been redesigned. 
  • Administration: the list of accounts can be seen as a list but also as a table. 
  • Administration: Possibility to specify the location of a signature to sign documents sent in an automated mode. 
  • Signature: possibility to choose the page on which to apply the signature. The page has been redesigned to show the whole page. 
  • Mail merged documents: a pop-up displays the total number of destination contacts and pages to check that all addresses have been spotted. 
  • Address detection: improvement of countries recognition with the allowance for near correct spelling (e.g. "Greaz Britain" would be understood as well as "Great Britain" and corrected).
  • Library: A new « template » object allows you to store Word, PDF, Quark, etc. document templates into the Post On Demand library.
  • Validation: it is now possible to specify a reason for rejecting an order. 
  • POD manages extended languages (greek, russian, chinese, etc.) thanks to UTF8 support. 
  • The interface is available in Hungarian if Unicode mode is installed. 
  • Proof: Addition of white pages required by production in duplex mode in the proof. 
  • Management: Possibility to use alternative services such as JDATABASE instead of DATABASE (to manage JDBC as opposed to ODBC database), PDFTool as opposed to PDF (for text capturing into a PDF) and soon Image Magick instead of IMAGE (for Unix 64 bits compatibility).

Version 5.0 of Post On Demand, our hybrid mail solution, is available. POD v5 integrates numerous new functionalities, bug corrections and performance improvements. All contribute to a better usability, adoption and productivity.

Amongst the new functionalities:
  • Categorization of documents: possibility to reject a document if it has not been categorized according to company definitions.
  • Categorization of documents: definition of a delivery channel for each category. E.g. all invoice for China are sent by fax while invoices destined to the US are sent by email.
  • Emailing: possibility to distribute documents by email accompanied by a rich text email. The traceability of emails is done on the same Web interface as the post or recorded post.
  • Management of attachments in the library: possibility to store documents such as newsletters, brochures, etc. in the account and/or personal libraries and to choose them to accompany a document sent.
  • Management of technical/production zones: possibility to reject orders if the zones reserved for production marks include some text. The technical zones can be configured by production site or outsourcer.
  • Management: A new screen to follow orders and relaunch them in case of problems.

Nirva becomes one of the inaugural members of the Xerox Cloud Consortium with its cloud PostGreen hybrid mail management solution. Nirva was already an international Xerox Silver Innovation Partner.

Nirva in 2011

Nirva posts excellent results in 2011 despot difficult macro-economic conditions. Revenues are up by 9% and profits are multiplied by 4.

In 2011, Nirva has delivered several high value projects in the areas of hybrid mail management and processes automation at organizations as varied as the Ministry of Finance in Belgium, Velux, Officina, etc.

Nirva has also delivered 2 major versions of its 2 flagship products: Nirva Application Platform and Post On Demand.

Open Source, which means you can automate and trace your processes at a very low entry cost .

Last, Nirva now offer its hybride mail products as licence purchase, licence rental and without any capital investment through its
PostGreen hybrid mail service.
